Stent started his new season with an effortless win in the Open Trot at Addington confirming the Australasian Trottting Champ is in for a big season for trainer/driver Colin de Filippi. Colin was one of the first trainers to use FLAIR strips & has continued to do so since their introduction. He trained Kyms Girl to win the NZ Trotting Cup, one of the 2 winners of the Cup so far for horses wearing FLAIR. The other trainer who trained a FLAIR Cup winner was Robert Dunn with Mainland Banner who also trained an impressive winner last night in Lovemetwotimes
