Kawi Brilliant in the Group 1 Makfi Challenge Stakes

Kawi confirmed his status as the the best horse racing in New Zealand with back to back wins in the Group 1 Makfi Challenge Stakes at Hawkes Bay. Kawi was having his 1st start wearing a FLAIR strip after having a much publicised wind operation earlier in the year. Farm Boy also wearing a FLAIR strip ran a slashing race for third and will be one to follow in the longer races coming up over the spring and summer.
